INTERNATIONAL PROJECT DIRECTOR - ASIA

Our Client is an international worldwide renowned construction group active in the construction and real estate sectors, one of the most important European companies in the sector. The company covers practically all fields of the construction industry and is outside of the European Union, active in Europe, Asia, North & Central Africa and in the Middle East.

As part of the group strategic plan for further growth in Asia we are looking to recruit immediately a top level International Project Director:


Responsibilities:

The International Project Director will be the final responsible for one or more international projects in Asia (with a first project of > 200 mil. € budget in India). You will be the responsible for the whole project, financial, technical and time schedule follow-up of the project.

· You will report to the CEO.
· You are responsible for the financial success of the project.
· You are responsible for the timely execution of the project.
· You will manage important teams of the construction manager, project and process engineers (internal and subcontractors).
· You will ensure that the overall project will be executed according to the technical specifications, the end-user and/or consultant.
· You will be responsible for the acceptance/commissioning of the project by the consortium and/or end-user, this within the set time and financial frames.
· You will ensure the coordination between the client, the consortium, engineering or consultant office, suppliers/subcontractors and the HQ.
· You will negotiate and issue purchase orders and subcontract agreement and will follow them up.
· You will be the main contact for the client and/or consortium and therefore have an important business development function.
· You will be able to develop the business and the commercial aspects in the Region.
· The position requires high level responsibility.

Requirements:

· Master or Bachelor in construction engineering (civil engineer, etc. …) or equivalent through experience
· People leader and managerial abilities
· Project management experience and knowledge
· Commercial capacities
· Languages: English and Dutch or French; knowledge of other languages is an asset
· Knowledge/experience in civil construction works, international major construction projects of building, railway, viaduct, road, bridge, etc.
· Communication skills
· Team player
· A minimum of 5 years experience in an equivalent international environment is required.

Job Description
Detail, together with InBev business, specific zone and local business IS requirements
Define zone and local solution blueprint and business case
Plan and coordinate solution definition and coordinate solution delivery
Manage implementation of global solutions in the zone in collaboration with implementation partner(s).
Identify, develop and manage implementation partner(s)

Accountabilities
Support InBev zone business to define zone specific business needs
Identify and provide specific IS solutions to zone/local businesses and specific zone business functions
Liaise with Global business systems solutions and Solution Architecture to ensure solutions are aligned with IS strategy, technology and architecture. Ensure compliance of solutions with InBev global standards & policies (both IS and IT)
Support Zone Business Systems Relationship Management in channeling business demand, related to IS solutions, standards and policies• Facilitate communication between IS and zone InBev business
Define zone and local solution blueprint and business case
Plan and coordinate solution definition and coordinate solution delivery with service provider
Program Management of solutions in the zone through external Project Management. Track, escalate and resolve specific project issues where necessary

Education:
