- At least two years' experience as an editor or subeditor on a complex information-based website with mass public appeal
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with people at all levels within the organisation
- Ability to manage, motivate and lead staff to high professional standards
- Writing and editing content for different web audiences with differing levels of understanding and managing others to create this content
