The Reference Data Strategy Program is being initiated at UBS Investment Bank in order to improve the control and distribution of critical information regarding our clients, accounts, products and instruments. The program impacts all areas of the Bank across all product lines and business groups front-to-back from Trading through to Settlement and across control functions such as Risk and Accounting.

The Project Manager will work within the IT team, developing and supporting solutions being identified as part of the Reference Data Strategy program. The position is for a hands-on, flexible Project Manager who will have responsibility for delivery of specific projects related to the Reference Data Strategy efforts. This role will involve day to day project management with a virtual team of IT staff and business users and as well as analysis of technical and business problems. The ability to manage user expectations is essential as are solid problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant analysis and project management training.
- Specific experience with reference data management systems.
- Knowledge of structured analysis and design methods [specify e.g. business process modelling, data modelling, etc.]
- Vendor management experience.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Project finance skills.
- Risk Analysis and risk management experience .
- Experience of delivery within an internal, offshore/onshore delivery model is desirable.
- Knowledge of and proven experience with industry best practices for analysis, design, build and test of complex systems.
- Understanding of investment bank client-related regulatory, legal and compliance standards and initiatives would be desirable.
- A good understanding of operational workflow processes and how they can be streamlined to improve efficiency is desirable.

Basic Qualifications:
- Four year degree or international equivalent
- Minimum 4 years Project management experience including tracking and reporting project progress.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Lead analyst on a large program.
